Holding, and will slide you to the right. Holding, and will rotate you counterclockwise, while holding, and will rotate you clockwise. Holding, and will tilt you forwards, while holding, and will tilt you backwards. With the camera angle that is shown above, it works out such that sends you forward, and sends you backward. If you aren't holding either bumper or trigger, then pushing the left stick either forward or backward will send you in that direction. You also have two two-way jets in the middle of the bread (on both sides of the bread). Highlighting a corner and pushing the left stick in the desired direction will cause the respective jet to boost, propelling you in a certain direction. Basically, every corner of the bread has 4 jets, facing up, down, left and right. This is by far, the easiest camera angle to control the bread from, as the controls are all very intuitive. You want to position your camera, such that the icon on the bread is in the back left, as shown in the following picture (you may need to move away from the loaf to do this): Upon starting a level, the bread will lie vertically within the loaf. If you run out of grip, you will have to wait a second for it to refill, so try not to tread dangerously near hazards if you are about to run out of grip.Īs previously mentioned, Zero G has the most complex controls. It's worth noting that this will use up grip on both Story Mode and Cheese Hunt. When you click in that button, it will not only grip the object, but it will allow you to carry it around with you, assuming the object is light enough. When one of the grip points of your bread is touching a movable object, you will have the option to click either, , or, depending on which corner it is.
The only other thing to mention in the controls is the "grab" function. Gripping is really only used for climbing walls, which doesn't really happen on many levels anyway. The bagel rarely requires the use of grips, as simply holding the left stick in the desired direction will cause the bagel to roll in that direction. Nudging does not work with the baguette, so your movement is restricted to flings and pivots. With Rampage, you are using a baguette, and therefore this is really the only way to move around. Rampage and Bagel Race are similar, except there are only two grip points on the bread, each of which is assigned to a trigger.
